Testing is a bit challenging as there are two different connector pins and they have different functions but the most effective method of testing it is to measure the resistance between the sensor and the ECU. If the sensor is functional, it should read about 1000 ohms. If you're having issues with this sensor, look for signs of oil or coolant in the connector bay.

2. Injectors

Yesterday, as i was accelerating off the highway paytoll at maximum speed I noticed a massive decrease in power. It was as if the engine was running out of gas. Or, my injectors weren't firing. In the morning, i removed the spark plugs, three were drenched with gazoline the 4th one was dry. When i crank the engine, there are no sparks, i place a tissue on the top of each hole in the injector and the 3 that were drenched in gazoline leap out, however the 4th one stays shut. I inspected the ground connection on ECU pins 14/55/30/55/48/55/14/55/48/ i get 0ohm. I'm assuming the issue is somewhere else.

I also tried to reset the PID but without success. The car will start when the G28 is unplugged, and it is running fine with the G28 plugged in. However the intermittent misfire issue continues to occur at higher RPM. The temperature sensor for the coolant (G62) shows the wrong temperature value of that is -49c even after unplugging it. Also i noticed that the oil pressure gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bar, whereas the actual pressure is 0.0 if i crank up the engine.

I'm not sure what to do. I believe that I've all other possibilities out. I'm worried that i might have missed something. If anyone has any ideas please let me know! TIA!

3. Fuel Pump

The fuel pump of the g28 receives signals from the RPM sensor. The GM-style sender is identical to the G4 and both are used in the 80 100 200, UrS and RS2 cars which is why you can easily locate one at a wrecking yard or at a parts store.
