This fridge is loaded with them all including a Keurig K cup coffee maker inside the door to a sophisticated dispenser of water. But these flourishes don't mask mediocre performance, especially in the refrigerator's freezer and an ineffective temperature-controlled drawer. Since this refrigerator costs a premium, I expect higher quality.

Other than that however, this refrigerator is a fantastic choice. It has a huge freezer compartment, which is unusual for counter-depth French-door fridges. It also has a large capacity for frozen food compared to other models.

The fridge has 17 shelves and compartments. The fridge compartment is 18.5 cubic feet, which is standard for a fridge with a french door fridge clearance door at this price. It comes with a decent size icemaker in the left door. But, it's not the largest one I've seen.

The drawers are simple to shut and open, but I found the plastic's textured coatings a bit hard on my fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator includes all the features you would expect from a refrigerator within this price range. This includes Wi-Fi as well as app support, and GE's SmartHQ Software. The app, available for iOS and Android devices allows you to control your fridge from anywhere in world, and offers many options for customizing. The Ice maker is among the top we've tested and produces a pyramid-shaped ice that is low in water consumption. This fridge is ideal for a single household or kitchenette that needs an attractive design and top of the line food preservation.

This fridge was the top-rated refrigerator in our Refrigerators test for a few reasons. Its freezer temperatures held firm at a level that was just above 0 degrees Fahrenheit, and never fluctuating by more than a fraction an inch. This is essential to preventing freezer burn. There's also a full-width storage drawer for food items and an internal water dispenser.

One of the great things about this refrigerator is that the Ice maker is located in the freezer, making it easy to transfer the ice to the refrigerator to use as needed. The freezer also comes with innovative design features like sliding drawers that help you organize your belongings. It also has a large container for storing frozen food and a separate one for ice.

Another awesome feature of this refrigerator is its Smart InstaView panel. You can manage the temperature, lighting and other aspects of your fridge using your smartphone. It's a nice method of monitoring and managing your refrigerator, especially when you're away from home.

The Smart InstaView feature is neat but it doesn't improve the performance of the fridge. The refrigerator took longer to defrost food and chill it than other models we tried. This is likely due to the larger capacity.

The other issue we have with the doors of this refrigerator. The sunken handles let shorter people open them from the bottom. However taller people will have a hard time closing them without slamming. It would have been better if they had front-mounted handle.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is a great choice for those who want to combine the look of a French door refrigerator with an efficient design. Its capacity is higher than average for counter-depth models, and it cools evenly. It's also a little cheaper than the best counter-depth refrigerators that have an ice maker, which can make it a popular choice.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

This Frigidaire French door refrigerator is a good option if you want a french door fridge with ice & water dispenser-door refrigerator that doesn't cost a lot of budget. It's a basic refrigerator that might not be as appealing as some of its competitors however it has enough features to make it a an excellent option. Its most important feature is the temperature adjustable drawer that helps keep food items like meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also comes with a large ice maker and a water dispenser.

The "Chill Drawer", which sits over the two crisper bins, is a excellent feature.
